AMEK Supertrue installation files, installation and setup documentation, and the Supertrue User Guide
Description
What you get here is Supertrue 3.2b and 3.5 (you need to install 3.2 before 3.5), the Installation and Setup guide (PDF), and the very detailed User Guide (PDF). The program file folders are zipped. You'll need to unzip them and put them either on a floppy disk or on a floppy emulator partition. Supertrue has very specific requirements for operation. Number one is you need an AMEK console designed for automation, recall, and dynamics. The next most important thing is the computer. Supertrue has very strict requirements in order to function. This is a DOS program that will only work with PC-DOS version 6.x or MS-DOS 6.x operating systems. It will NOT work in a DOS window under Windows 3.1 or later. You can't run this on an emulated version of DOS. You'll need an old PC with at least 8MB of RAM, but not more than 32MB, a hard drive (or equivalent SSD properly formated) of no greater than 2GB, and a running on a processor of 25MHz-33MHZ (ie a Pentium 386DX at 33MHz or a Pentium 486SX at 25MHz). The desk references the processor clock, which is why Supertrue can not be run as an emulation on a modern machine.
